Join me in supporting social changemaking from the roots up! Your kōkua can help ensure that these grassroots huis have the resources they need to continue their important work.

Despite moving away from home over 16 years ago, Hawai'i is still and will always be home for me. Every year when I would go home to visit my family and friends, I would feel powerless to impact the changes that were happening as more and more families were struggling and moving to the continent for better economic opportunity. This giving project fundraiser is supporting the efforts of amazing grassroots organizations across the Hawaiian Islands that are fighting for a better Hawai'i.

Stand with me in supporting grassroots organizing, food sovereignty, education, reclaiming of land and culture by Native Hawaiians, reproductive justice, representation in the arts, restorative approaches to criminal justice, indigenous-led movement work, and more!

If you are also part of the Hawai'i diaspora, this is your chance to support progressive movement work back home!

If you are not from Hawai'i and have ever travelled to Hawai'i on vacation - consider donating $100 per trip. Consider it an impact fee donation back to the residents and kanaka maoli lands that you were on and the communities that you impacted.

$7000 will fully fund one grant to a grassroots organization - help me meet my goal!

Even a small donation will go a looooong way in helping me meet my fundraising goal for the 2021 Giving Project! The funds I am able to raise will be swirled around with the efforts of 20 others, amplifying the POWER of COLLECTIVE GIVING, and PROVING that what we may not have the capacities to do alone, we can CERTAINLY make happen TOGETHER!
