I serve as a proud Board member on the Hawaiʻi People’s Fund.

Last year Hawaiʻi People’s Fund had a ground breaking year in raising $180,000 from community members like you so we could invest in revolutionary work across the islands.

Community members helped Hawaiʻi People’s Fund invest in a one-of-a-kind grassroots community effort to shape Molokai’s energy future through community-developed and owned renewable energy projects by Hoʻāhu Energy Cooperative Molokai.

Community gave us the resources to invest in Micronesian health and Chuukese and Samoan culture and language through Micronesian Health Advisory Committee, Le Fetuao Samoan Language Center and The Chuuk Language and Cultural Association of Hawaiʻi, Inc. so our Pacific Island brothers and sisters have a place to stay healthy and stay connected to their ancestral place while finding home in Hawaii.

And community reaffirmed our commitment to our Native Hawaiian people and their connection to culture and the 'āina as a bridge to spirituality and healing through Ke Kula Nui O Waimānalo, Nā Mahiʻai o Keanae, and Mālama Mākua.

These are just some of the amazing, grassroots organizations that Hawaii People’s Fund has supported in its 49 years of giving.

Join me in celebrating Hawaiʻi People's Fund's 49th birthday by donating $49 today! 100% of your gift goes to supporting the work of Hawaii People's Fund, supporting Operations and programming, and grantmaking that go directly to grassroots organizations working towards social change in Hawaiʻi.

Donate before December 31st and I will personally match the first $245 in donations with $245 so, together, we can support Hawaii People's Fund with a $490 donation!
