Friend, if there is one thing we all learned during COVID, it's that we cannot return to the way things were. The old normal did not work for a majority of those living paycheck-to-paycheck before the pandemic, and a "return to normalcy" will not make things better.

But there is a path to a new, better normal. Your donation will fuel grassroots orgs on the frontlines working to reshape Hawaiʻi's system and empower regular, working families in 2022.

For 49 years, the Hawaiʻi People's Fund has resourced the rockstars in our community.

• They are growing healthy food to decrease reliance on imports, like Nā Mahiʻai o Keanae and the Makahanaloa Fishing Association.
• They are demanding rights for our essential workers, like the Hawaii Worker's Center.
• They're protecting family lands and sacred spaces from land speculation and development, like Kīpuka Kuleana and Mālama Mākua.
• And they're organizing community-owned energy solutions to our climate crisis, like Hōʻahu Energy Cooperative Molokai.

Join me in resourcing those shaping a better, new normal in 2022. 100% of your donation will support HPF's grantmaking and operational support to amplify the work of our grantees. All donations are tax-deductible.
