I’ve always had a passion for social justice. Growing up as a Kanaka Maoli (Native Hawaiian) in the Hawaiian Kingdom and being subjected to racism, systematic oppression, and indoctrination from birth social justice reform and education has been a passion of mines in reclaiming my identity.

Being a part of Hawaiʻi People's Fund has enabled me to be apart of this by being a part of the Grant Making Committee for four years now.
